Iain is a non-executive director at National Grid plc, where he chairs the Audit and Risk Committee and serves on the Remuneration and Finance Committees. He previously served as CFO and executive director at GSK plc, playing a leading role in restructuring the company.
Before GSK, Iain was Group Finance Director at HSBC Holdings plc for eight years and prior to that held senior finance roles at HSBC, General Electric, and Schlumberger.
Iain joined UK Government Investments and Schroders plc as a non-executive director in late 2023 and early 2024, respectively.
Iain holds an MA in Business Studies and Accounting and an Honorary Doctorate from Aberdeen University.
